On past May 24th and 25th, the new written theatre play entitled Phoenix had its premiere at Borgarleikhúsið in Reykjavík. That play which is a co-operation between Maria Ellingsen from Iceland, Rejo Kelo from Finland and Eivør Pálsdóttir from the Faroe Islands it is based on the phoenix mythologic figure. As it happens on the legend, the plot focuses on dying and being reborn. As some of you know this is not the first time that Maria, Rejo and Eivør's been working together. They also created the awarded theatre play Úlfhamssøga a few years ago based on Norse Sagas.
